Rustic Travertine (SALT FINISH)
It depends, some products are in stock for immediate pick up or delivery. If it's not in stock, standard straight pieces for rectangular shape pools lead time is about 2 weeks.
Free form or pools that require substantial radii pieces will require longer lead time.
Poured in place concrete is an inferior to precast stone coping in many ways. The only advantage of poured in place concrete coping is that it requires no advanced planning or thinking when you have a free form pool.
Here are the advantages of precast stone coping:
- Finish: the finish of precast stone coping is much nicer and richer than poured in place concrete. You get a nice limestone finish with precast coping.
- Durability: Over the years precast coping does NOT CRACK like it does on poured concrete. The earth/ground always moves and those forces create cracks on poured in place, because it is a large unit with rebar reinforcement. It is inevitable.
- Color and finish is more clean and authentic, because it is manufactured in a controlled environment with fine aggregates.
- Precast coping is used for high end resorts.
- More color options.
- Cost: The cost more or less is about the same. Some cases precast coping is little less and some cases is about the same. However, you get a much better product.
The finish of our coping stones look much richer than imported travertine. Our coping stone offers much more earth tone color selection than travertine. Our coping stones are also available in radii, corners, double sided finishes and various sizes. Request a sample and compare it yourself.
